There are many aspects of healing. Here at Mountain Chapel, we take a three tier approach with Counseling, Sozo, and Shalom.
Counseling

Shalom
The Hebrew word SHALOM is known to mean peace. But peace is only a small part of the meaning of the word. The Strong's Concordance defines Shalom in the NKJV as:
Completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare (well-being), safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord.
Emotions can play a large role in how we see ourselves and how we respond to people and situations. If we believe things about ourselves that don't align with the Word of God, the deception and lies can eventually affect our well-being mentally and physically. In 2003 this healing support group began with the vision and desire to help people find their peace, their wholeness and their healing in the center of God's "Shalom." It was emphasized that if we could have peace within our soul, then the body would be free to rest and be healthy and whole. We meet weekly with the goal of bringing healing and truth to our lives in order to have a closer relationship with Jesus and a closer relationship with each other as sister's and brother's in Christ.
